Our training and preperation continued for our Great Wall Hike, with a recent trip to Snowdon in North Wales.
This was an excellent opportunity for us to not only expose ourselves to some relatively similar terrain, but also to gauge of overall fitness levels as well as making sure our kit was up to the job. [...]

August has proven to be a very influential month in terms of our fund-raising for the Institute of Cancer Research UK. Our Summer Raffle fundraising draw takes place this coming Sunday 29th August 2010 at Fairford Cricket Club.

On Saturday 5th June 2010, we kicked off our training preperations with a 9 mile hike in the Cotswolds. We both put our equipment, boots, and legs to the test and completed the walk in approx 4 hours. Happily, we completed this with out too many issues, other than the odd blister! We have now [...]

Recently completed 10 miles in my “new best friends”, (yes the boots!!) and no blisters which is great news!
Its great to see the word of our challenge is spreading, and we have just hit the 170 mark on our fan page on face book.
