I am delighted to announce that my wife Nicola is pregnant, with a due date of April 15th 2011. A picture of the 14 week scan is here on the right, and mother and baby are doing well. However, this does have a negative impact on our plans!
With a due date of April 15th 2011, this is only approx. 2 weeks after we would be due to fly back to the UK from our China trek. As a result, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone our trip.
We have been in conversations with the charity every step of the way, and have agreement from the organisers to change our trek dates. For this reason, we will now be completing our Great Wall of China Hike from the 8th – 16th October 2011. All of the funds we have raised to date, and all of the activities we have planned for the future all remain valid. We now just have a little more time to prepare!
So, now with a little under a year to go before our challenge starts, we will continue to work hard and keep up to speed with our training and fundraising activities. More news and details on future events will appear soon.
